Molecular Visualizations of DNA

If this doesn't blow your mind, then I don't know what will. When you think about all the complex actions we are capable of and then see how the complex systems that enable us to do these complex things function, you start to get a sense of how insanely complex life really is. It's no wonder that we have only begun to understand how the human mind works and how the body actually functions.

Liberty City and NYC - Side by Side Comparison Pictures
Sightseeing in Liberty City - a set on Flickr - 1 reviews [Stumbles via StumbleUpon]

This is pretty neat. A flicker set that shows how much alike Liberty City and New York City are. In some cases I had trouble telling which was which.

The shear length of this rant is what really gets me laughing.
By the way, I didn't read all the way through it. If you can make it all the way through you have an attention span that is far superior to mine.

The Artwork of Thomas Doyle
ART BY THOMAS DOYLE - 3 reviews [Stumbles via StumbleUpon]

Thomas Doyle describes his artwork as depicting "the remnants of things past—whether major, transformational experiences, or the quieter moments that resonate loudly throughout a life. In much the way the mind recalls events through the fog of time, the works distort reality through a warped and dreamlike lens." Using images in that manner he is able to create surreal scenes that are captured forever (usually under a glass globe).

Turn Your Point-and-Shoot Cannon into a Super-Camera
Feature: Turn Your Point-and-Shoot into a Super-Camera - 5 reviews [Stumbles via StumbleUpon]
I tried this out today on my Cannon Powershot with impressive results. It almost feels like I have turned my point and shoot camera into a DSLR by copying a few files to my memory card. If you have a Cannon I recommend trying this out.
